Nassauzaal

*Deze lezing is Engelstalig

The International Friends of the Mauritshuis have great pleasure in inviting you to a fascinating lecture about the work of the Rembrandt Association, presented by its director, Geert-Jan Janse.

The work of the Rembrandt Association dates back over 130 years with the Mauritshuis the first museum to benefit from its support. Today, fifty-two world class paintings hanging in the Mauritshuis have been purchased with the support of the Association, including universal favourites Laughing Boy by Frans Hals, Vase with Flowers by Jan Davidsz de Heem and Old Woman and Boy with Candles by Peter Paul Rubens.

Geert-Jan will introduce us to the work of the Rembrandt Association, which plays a special role in the Dutch cultural landscape, covering collections, research, restoration and support for top quality artworks and historical objects in all forms from the past and present.
