One of our most famous paintings, The Bull by Paulus Potter, is being restored! It is the largest painting in our collection.

The restoration is accessible to everyone and can be experienced live at our museum. And to celebrate that, we have renamed a number of Saturdays in 2025 as Bull's Saturday. You are more than welcome to join us for a fun afternoon filled with activities.

Activities for the entire family

  • In our workshop you can paint your own bull. Reservations are not necessary, you can just walk in!
    10:30 - 14:30.
  • Art restoration tours: We meet in front of the big screen in the foyer: 11:30 - 12:30, 13:00 - 14:00, 15:00 - 16:00 PM. Please note these tours are in Dutch.
  • Q&A with the conservators of The Bull. At 14:00 the session will be held in English and at 12:00 and 16:00 the sessions will be in Dutch.
