The International Friends of the Mauritshuis are delighted to invite you to their Golden Midwinter Evening, one of the most anticipated events of the season. The event will be hosted in English.
The evening will begin with a musical recital by a talented Polish duet, who studied at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and now perform across Europe. Aleksandra Kwiatkowska (playing historic violin) and Matylda Adamus (playing historic cello) will perform in the beautiful Golden Room of the Mauritshuis.
At the Brasserie Justine Rinnooy Kan, Mauritshuis curator, will talk about the logistics of organising travelling art exhibitions, such as the upcoming Frans Hals exhibition taking place in London, Amsterdam and Berlin. Following the talk, drinks and nibbles will be served, and you will have the opportunity to chat with other International Friends.
