About Eefje de Visser
Eefje de Visser (1986) is a Dutch singer-songwriter. In 2009 she won the famous Dutch music award De Grote Prijs van Nederland with her alternative, Dutch pop songs. Her first albums (The biscuit, 2011 and It Is, 2013) contain dreamy indie pop songs, but since her third album Nightlight (2016) she increasingly leans towards electronic music and adds synthesizers, drum computers and warm basses to her songs. Eefje de Visser is praised for the way in which she deals with language; like a kind of intuitive prose. In 2020 she received two Edisons: one for best alternative artist and one for her latest album Bittersweet (2020).
